The Tri-Mutual Aid Fire Fighters Association was founded in 1946 and has grown to a membership of
twenty-eight (28) career paid and volunteer Fire and Rescue Departments in Nebraska and Iowa
with a total force of 1,600 Fire Fighters/Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics.

It is our mission to insure the safety of lives and property of our citizens from fire loss, medical emergencies and natural or unexpected disasters in our communities and rural and suburban fire districts.

It is also our purpose that we pledge our assistance to each other in the use of fire apparatus, medic units, specialized rescue or hazardous material units of apparatus and manpower in the defense required to control any emergency or disaster - whatever may be its cause.
